Taemoon is Managing Director and Head of Securitization Asia Pacific at MUFG. He
joined MUFG Head Office in 2012 and relocated to Singapore in 2019. He has more
than 23 years of APAC securitization experience with a focus on consumer assets in
Japan, Korea, China, Australia, and India. Prior to MUFG, Taemoon spent 9 years at
RBS Tokyo in Securitization/DCM. He was formerly an equity analyst of non-bank
financial sector at ING Tokyo and a management associate at Citi in the US. Taemoon
graduated with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology. He is a CFA Charter holder and speaks Japanese and Korean in addition to English.
