Oscar Austin was appointed as Co-Head of Alternative Credit and Securitised Product Group, Asia Pacific in November 2024. He is responsible for overseeing the development of Natixis CIB Structured Credit activity in the Asia Pacific region.

With over 17 years’ experience, Oscar first began his career at Deloitte working in corporate advisory, before moving into Global Markets as a sales trader, focusing on Futures and Foreign Exchange. Oscar joined Natixis CIB in 2014, working across sales to develop the structure credit business in Australia, before leading the structured syndicate business for the APAC region in 2022, including asset-backed securities (ABS), collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), capital call facilities and fund financings, and a range of bank and insurance regulatory solutions.

Oscar graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Arts.
