Frances is a freelance journalist and panel moderator, writing articles about international debt markets and driving debate with panelists on Asia finance, subjects that span from China’s equity markets to credit trading and ESG.

Frances has worked for about 20 years in journalism across several cities in Asia. She most recently worked as the financial markets reporter for the Wall Street Journal in Hong Kong, breaking news on the region’s top stories in Asian debt markets, the restructuring on China’s property markets and private equity. 

She also worked as an on-air reporter for Bloomberg Television in Tokyo and Seoul, following that with nearly six years as the bond markets editor for IFR Asia.

Frances is a graduate of New York University.”
