Ali El Ghorfi is a Managing Director and serves as Head of Capital Markets for the Alternative Credit platform of AXA Investment Managers, which currently manages c. 60 bn$. He joined AXA Investment Managers in 2008 and since played a pivot role in terms of sourcing, underwriting and monitoring various alternative & structured credit investments including CLOs, ABS, Private Financings, Asset-Backed Finance or SRT investments etc. Since 2020, Ali is as well in charge of the CLO issuance program of AXA Investment Managers both in Europe and in the US and of the global financing needs of the Alternative Credit platform

Ali began his career at Caisse Nationale des Caisses d’Epargne in 2006 as a Quantitative Analyst focusing on Securitized Assets. He holds a Master’s degree in Financial Risk Engineering from the University of Bordeaux IX and a Master’s degree in Statistics and Stochastic Modelling from the University of Bordeaux I.
